Why use our Image Converter?

Different formats suit different jobs: JPG for photos, PNG when you need transparency or sharp edges (like screenshots and logos), and WebP for the smallest file sizes on the modern web. Our converter switches between all three instantly, entirely inside your browser.

Need a specific conversion? Jump straight to JPG to PNG, PNG to JPG, JPG to WebP, WebP to JPG, PNG to WebP or WebP to PNG — each page is pre-set to the right formats.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will converting my image lose quality?

Converting to PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP uses a high default quality (92%) that keeps images looking sharp while still reducing file size.

What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?

JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent areas are filled with white before conversion. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG or WebP instead.

Is WebP supported in every browser?

Almost every modern browser can export WebP. A small number of older Safari versions can't — if that's the case, the WebP option is disabled automatically and you can use JPG or PNG instead.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversion happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API — your files never leave your device.

Can I convert several images at once?

This tool converts one image at a time for the clearest before/after comparison. Repeat the process for additional images.
